Position Title: General Ledger Accountant Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 12K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE About the Client: A prominent group based in Abu Dhabi, with international collaboration and successful track records in the areas of F&B, Retail and Entertainment providing fun and exciting quality experiences. Job Description: § Manage a timely and accurate month end close by reviewing various journal entries and account reconciliations for cash, prepaids, accruals, inter-company reconciliations, fixed assets schedules, financial statement consolidation and other various accounts. § Maintains the integrity of the general ledger including the preparation, verification, and input of journal entries. Prepares analysis of accounts as requested. § Review monthly prepaid, accruals and fixed asset roll forwards and related schedules. § Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and reporting of financial information and ensuring that information adheres to IFRS (international financial Reporting Standard) and internal company policies. § Provide backup support to the accounts payable team and reporting team as needed. § Work with and support the accounting team in day-to-day activities, special projects, and workflow process improvements especially on Control Capex spent compared to Budget المهارات Qualifications: § 35 years old and below § At least 5 years of experience in in real estate or shared services sector § Master’s in Accounting/CPA/ACCA/CA/CMA § Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standard especially IFRS 16 § Proficient in Microsoft office Suite specially Microsoft Excel (Advanced Pivot Tables, X look up, V Look Up & data editing and analysis etc.)
